Returning Used Candles

Over the last few months, I have seen post after post of people returning used candles to the store and getting brand new candles using the stores 100% Guarantee.  Per the Bath & Body Works website their returns policy is “We just want you to love it! Return anything, anytime for any reason. 100% Guaranteed.

If at any time you’re not completely satisfied with the quality of our products, you may return them to any of our Bath & Body Works or White Barn Stores in the US for a full refund, subject to the terms of our Return Policy.”

The key to the policy is if you’re not completely satisfied with the product.  If you are burning the candle till there is nothing left you were satisfied with the product.  You have used it for its intended purpose and liked it well enough to use all of it.

I am all for returning items that are defective or if it can’t be used for some reason.  However completely using a product and then returning it is completely wrong.  That is abusing the system.

What is your opinion on this?

Don’t Be A Shipageddon Victim

What’s Shipageddon?  Shipageddon is when the shipping carriers get overloaded which causes delays.  We experienced it in 2020 and it is expected to return for this holiday season due to an employee shortage.

What does this mean for you?  It means that if your planning on ordering your holiday packages at the last minute they more than likely will not arrive in time.  In order to get around this you might be considering purchasing locally at the last minute.  This isn’t going to work either because the stores are having the issue.  Their stock won’t be arriving on time either therefore making your instore options limited.

What’s your best course of action?  Order early.  Money an issue?  Try spreading out our holiday shopping out over the a few weeks but still order early.  Don’t wait till the last minute.

As an incentive to do your shopping early I am offering free shipping plus a free mystery gift with your order. No minimum order required. Use discount code Shipageddon expires 11/25/21. (US customers only)

Most Asked Question

#1 Question Asked

The most asked question I get concerning the website is why is there only 1 item available in any certain product.  Those who have been shopping with me for along time know that I personally shop for each product that is available on the website.  I shop by maximizing the coupons in combination with the many sales Bath & Body Works, Victoria Secret, and Yankee Candle offers.

By doing this in combination of the variety of different products available it is difficult to gather multiples of any product.  It is my goal to offer products in each scent that is offered at Bath & Body Works.  The products from Bath & Body Works are my number 1 most sold products on the website which is why I stock more products their company.   The limited quantities and low products is part of the fun with the website.   Many customers spend time watching the website and our Facebook pages so that they know when new products are added.  It has become somewhat of a game for some of our customers.  If they see something they want they grab it fast so that it doesn’t slip through their fingers.

You also might not be aware that there is a Facebook Messenger Group you can belong to and get advance notice of the daily new products added!  Click the link below to send me a private message in Facebook messenger to let me know you want to be added to the group for advance notice.

I am always willing to take requests on products and will restock products that are in demand so that more customers can share in the fun.
