MAINTAINING A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP

A few weeks ago I asked for topic suggestions for the weekly email.  Relationships was a topic that was suggested.  I am by far not a person who should be giving relationship advice.  A person who is single and has had too many relationships blow up in their face should not be giving advice.  A person who has had too many bad experiences and holds someone who is trying hard to be understanding at arms length should not be giving advice.  Below are bits and pieces of things I have been told over the years.  I hope you find it helpful.

No relationship is impeccable constantly. Be that as it may, in a solid relationship, the two individuals like the relationship more often than not. An incredible relationship takes more than fascination — it takes work, and both of you must be eager to place in the exertion. Here are a few hints for building a sound relationship:

• Love yourself: Being OK with what your identity is implies you’ll be a more joyful accomplice.

• Communicate: Converse with your accomplice about your emotions.

• Be genuine: Be honest with one another about what you do, think, and feel. Genuineness makes trust. Not many things hurt a relationship more than lies.

• Give each other some space: Couple’s time is extraordinary, however hanging out isn’t. It’s beneficial to have your own companions and interests outside of the relationship.

Agree to oppose the idea: You’re not continually going to agree, and that is alright. The significant thing is to regard each other’s suppositions and thoughts.

Forgive and request absolution: Everyone commits errors. Be eager to apologize for yours — and acknowledge your accomplice’s expressions of remorse.

Support one another: At the point when your accomplice accomplishes something incredible, let them know! Your accomplice ought to do likewise for you.

Talk about sex… transparently and sincerely: Mentioning to your accomplice what feels better and what you like and don’t care for causes you have better sex. Never pressure your accomplice into accomplishing something they would prefer not to do, or let your accomplice pressure you — assent is an absolute necessity.

Take care of your sexual wellbeing: Converse with your accomplice about how you will ensure each other against sexually transmitted diseases and unintended pregnancy.

How to know if the relationship is sound

It’s great to check in with yourself every now and then to perceive how you’re feeling about your relationship. The inquiries underneath center around sentimental and sexual connections, however they can apply to different sorts of connections, as well. After you’ve asked yourself these inquiries, it could be useful to answer them again from your accomplice’s point of view.

1. Does your accomplice tune in to and regard your thoughts?

2. Does your accomplice give you space to invest energy with your loved ones?

3. Do you have some good times getting to know one another?

        2.  Bradley University Case Study

The information we received back has been invaluable and we can’t express enough our thanks to those who completed the survey.   We also want to thank the students at Bradley University for the case study they completed.   We hope to make several more improvements in 2020 as a result from that case study.

In the end we are very thankful for the opportunities that 2019 has brought to us and look forward to see what new things to come in 2020.

When to use Hand Sanitizer

www.simpletreasuresforsale.com

Our parents have always told us to wash our hands. For most of us growing up, that meant going to a sink and using soap and water. In the past few decades, hand sanitizers have become a part of everyday life. They’re everywhere. People often wonder if hand sanitizers work as well, or maybe even better, than old-fashioned hand washing. What’s the story here?

The short answer: Soap-and-water hand washing should be your first choice, but hand sanitizers are a good backup.

Why is traditional hand washing the best option? It cleans your hands better than hand sanitizer. Washing your hands with soap and water physically removes the germs; they bond with and wash down the drain with soapy lather.

Traditional hand washing more effectively eliminates some viruses and bacteria, specifically nor virus and a bacterium called c. difficult. C. difficult can cause severe diarrhoea, while nor virus causes vomiting and diarrhoea. If you are in danger of being exposed to either, insist on soap-and-water hand washing.

Hand sanitizers, however, will do just fine most of the time. They are especially useful when soap and water hand washing is not available or practical.

How hand sanitizers work

Hand sanitizers are usually an alcohol-based gel. The alcohol kills germs. Some hand sanitizers come in the form of a foam; Triclosan is the active ingredient in these. Foam hand sanitizers are more effective than gels, but they can also be more expensive. The dispensers are not as practical or portable as gels. In most cases, gel sanitizers will do the job.

To use hand sanitizer effectively, apply some to the palm of one hand, then rub it all over your hands until they are dry. Hit every surface, including under your nails.

Hand sanitizer does not remove things from your hands, such as pesticides, lead paint, grease, or dirt. You may see hand sanitizers at gas stations near the pumps. Don’t be fooled: They will not remove gasoline from your hands.

Another important note: Hand sanitizer is poisonous, so you should never swallow it.

How to wash your hands with soap and water

Get your hands wet with warm water. Warm water removes germs better than cold water. Remember, you are physically removing the germs. Apply soap to the palm of one hand and rub your hands together, making a lather that covers all surfaces of the hand, including the nails. It’s the rubbing that removes the germs. Do this for about 20 seconds, then rinse away the lather? If you did a good job, the germs will wash away with the soapy water.

When to wash vs. use sanitizer

You should wash your hands with soap and water:

• When exposed to viruses and bacteria that cause stomach trouble, such as nor virus and c. difficult.

• Before and after preparing food, especially raw meats, fish, poultry, or eggs.

• After going to the bathroom, changing diapers, or cleaning up animal waste.

• Before and after caring for someone who is sick.

• After handling garbage.

• Before treating a wound.

• After coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose — especially if you are sick.

• When your hands are greasy or have visible dirt.

• To remove substances from your hands, like powders and paints.

• After handling animals, including pets.

You can use hand sanitizers:

• Before meals.

• Throughout the day.

• When soap and water are not available

Bath & Body Works Lotion Vs Body Cream

It’s said that oil and water don’t mix, but when it comes to understanding the differences between body lotion and body cream, the mixture of oil and water is the most important part. Each type of moisturizer has its own special composition and its own special set of benefits.

Body cream and body lotion are both used to prevent dry, cracked skin and keep it supple and moisturized. Lotions and creams contain both an oily agent, or phase, and a watery agent. Both help replenish oil in the skin and protect against loss of moisture.

Body Cream
Body cream is heavier and contains a higher viscosity, or sticky mixture of water and oil. According to SkinCarePhysician.com, creams penetrate the skin and provide a barrier that prevents more moisture loss from the skin than lotion. Creams, however, tend to feel greasier. A pharmaceutical or dermatology cream is usually an even mixture of 50 percent oil and 50 percent water. However, the ratio of water and oil in cosmetic cream and lotion varies and is also affected by other ingredients, such as paraffin. Because body cream is thicker, it is usually sold in a tub or jar container.

Lotion
Body lotions are not as sticky and are more readily absorbed by the skin because they have a lower viscosity than body creams. This form of moisturizer usually has a higher water content, comes in a bottle and can be poured out in a liquid form. Lotion is good for skin that is not excessively dry or when it is preferable not to have a sticky, greasy feeling on the skin.

Which do you prefer?
